Art

Art is a one-semester course in seventh and eighth grade. Each course focuses on the basics or art, experimenting with and exploring many different materials in both two-and three-dimensional works. Important connections are made between student projects and art history as well as how concepts in creating art are related to the students' current experiences in math, English, and other disciplines.

All East Tipp students, regardless of whether or not they are currently enrolled in an Art class, are also encouraged to join Art Club. The club meets almost every week to give an opportunity to students who wish to explore and create more than what Art class can provide. More information about the club is available from Mr. Hobaugh.
