The 2025 East Tipp MathCounts Season starts soon! MathCounts is a nationwide program and competition built to foster problem-solving skills in middle school students. East Tipp will choose a team of ten to go to competition in February; if we do well, we'll move from there to the State Finals in March.
But before any of that happens, we open up MathCounts to anyone who is interested ... and that means anyone! East Tipp students AND their families (What?!) are invited to compete once a week in a friendly team competition. Whether you're still holding your math skills from yesteryear or maybe you'll instead be blindly nodding your head in approval to the answers of your teammates, we'd love to have you!
MathCounts will meet at 7:45 on Tuesday mornings, starting with opening day on September 17. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Rice. Hope to see you there!
