When eighth-grade students return from Winter Break, they will be working on a Career Research Project in English class.  Students will have the opportunity to take a few career inventory surveys that can help identify possible career interests.  After students decide on careers they'd like to learn more about, they will research these careers and create Google Slides presentations that they will present to the class.  This unit allows students to work on their research and citation skills, gain experience in creating a multimedia presentation, and (hopefully) overcome their public speaking fears.
