At the start of the school year, eighth graders take a survey in English class to find out a little more about their personal organizational styles. In addition to learning about their styles, students also set some organizational goals for the school year. Organizational skills and tools will continue to be discussed throughout the school year. There is also an entire Canvas Module in their English course devoted to organization; there are calendars, tips and articles students can access.

A few organization tips for students include creating checklists, organizing time and assignments, designating a study space and time, cleaning out clutter, and preparing for the next day. You can click here to see more information about these tips.
