The Tippecanoe School Corporation has opened kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year. Families should contact their school for specific information regarding registration. In addition to the initial registration process, families will complete online registration in PowerSchool July 8-17, when the corporation opens registration for all grade levels. The school will provide families a username and password for PowerSchool.

Families need to provide to the school the child’s immunization record, proof of residency and legal birth certificate (not the certificate presented by the hospital) or passport. During online registration, families will need to provide emergency contact information in PowerSchool and pay curricular fees. 

Once you contact the school, you will begin receiving information about the upcoming school year.

Children must be five years of age on or before August 1, 2024 to be eligible for enrollment in kindergarten. If a parent feels the child is not emotionally mature enough for exposure to the school environment, the family may wait a year before enrolling.

If the parent feels the child is ready for kindergarten, but does not meet the birthdate eligibility requirement, the parent may apply to the TSC superintendent. Click here for the Early Entrance to Kindergarten Form. The superintendent will determine admission based on date of birth and space availability. If the office receives more applications than spaces, children whose birthdates are closest to August 1 may be admitted. If no space is available, or it is not in the best interest of the school or children, no early admission will be accepted.
