Harrison High School and McCutcheon High School will celebrate the Class of 2022 with commencement ceremonies Sunday, June 5 at Purdue’s Elliott Hall of Music.

About 450 Harrison graduates will walk across the stage to “Pomp and Circumstance” at 1 pm. McCutcheon’s nearly 335 graduates will be honored starting at 4 pm. Commencement ceremonies will include music, remarks from the class president and valedictorians.

Harrison has 43 Academic Honors with Distinction graduates and 153 Academic Honors graduates.

“I want to congratulate the Class of 2022 on this remarkable achievement of graduation from William Henry Harrison High School,” says Principal Cory Marshall. “The students have worked hard during their four years and now are ready and prepared to receive a diploma and move on to the world of college and work. We are very proud of their accomplishments and of the outstanding leadership they provided for Harrison. The resilience, courage, and engagement have brought them to graduation and the many joys and possibilities that await them in future years!”

McCutcheon High School has 26 Academic Honors with Distinction graduates and 86 Academic Honors graduates.

“The class of 2022 has demonstrated an incredible spirit of resilience,” says McCutcheon Principal Gloria Grigsby. “With the majority of their MHS years overshadowed by a pandemic, this group of seniors has made the best of their situation by advocating for their experiences. I am so proud of their academic achievements and I am excited for their bright futures.”
