What really is the best product for your money? To find out, sixth graders applied the skills and methods scientists use to test a consumer product, pitting the name brand against the generic version. Some examples of the products tested include: paper towels, nail polish, batteries, cereal, storage bags, markers, dish soap, candles, even toilet paper!
Once the experiments were concluded, students put their findings on display boards so they could share their results. At FAT Wednesday, visitors that night were treated to Consumer Reports-like ratings and reviews (no membership required!), and can confidently spend their money on the best products, truly scientifically proven by our very own Trojans!
